  Beautiful scenery, very relaxing during the week. Can feel over crowded during weekends and school holidays. The yearly membership is very good value for money and can have ticket price deducted from membership price if bought within two weeks. Highly recommended but make sure you buy membership if going more than 3 times a year. Fantastic for kids.

  Definitely a must see if you find yourself in Melbourne. I try to visit at least once a year, and I find that each time I visit, the exhibits become more interactive. I feel like their food options could be improved upon, though you'll always find something on offer. I find the staff incredibly helpful too. One of the gorilla keepers were nearby on a recent trip and he stood and chatted with us for about 20 mins explaining the gorilla dynamics and facts about the gorillas that are currently here. Absolutely loved it.

  Always fun to spend time here. It's worth becoming zoo member if you have young kids so you can always drop it for a couple of hours at your convenience
